Effective 22 August 2026. KeepRoute is a paid iPhone app (A$2.99, Australia storefront) published independently of Tesla, Inc.
KeepRoute does not operate an account system and does not run a developer server for the app. Saved routes are JSON files in the app’s local storage on your iPhone.
While you navigate, KeepRoute reads your location when the app is in use so the map can show your position and the next maneuver. Location is used only for that app functionality. It is not linked to an identity we store, not used for advertising, and not used for tracking across apps or websites.
Place search and driving directions may be provided by Apple Maps / MapKit. Apple’s handling of those requests is described in Apple’s privacy documentation. KeepRoute does not send route files to Tesla or to a KeepRoute backend.
The A$2.99 paid-app purchase is processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.
